I am trying to install MSMQ on a Win2K professional
computer via "add/remove windows components". When I try
to install, the installation procedure hangs up.
I am trying to install with the following options:
Independent Client
Manually select access mode to Active Directory
Message queuing will not access a directory service
The install begins and progress starts to show in the
Windows Component Wizard window, but the install seems to
hang-up when the status reads "Installing Message Queuing
Services". The Task Manager indicates the the Component
Wizard is still running.
Does anybody have any ideas on how to get around this? I
have installed MSMQ on another Win2K Professional computer
using the same configuration without any problems.
