I have tried every way to load Kodak, it appears to be successful and then I
get an error message that says there aren't any back files, I click and then
it says that there is no administrator to match media stuff. I am really
confused, at one time it was fine, then when the power went out I had to use
restore nothing but problems everysince. I cannot even load pictures from my
kodak camera onto the computer, it says I don't have administrator
privileges. Another error message came up and I had to go to MY Computer and
do the msisip.dll and replace it with msisip.old. still didn't work.
Help!!!!

Hi,

Perhaps you havent administrative rights ;) - check it first. You can do
this at Control Panel -> User accounts.

they are talking about. Jenna

What "Kodak" are you trying to install? What did Kodak tech support say?

Hi Jenna,

I'm a bit confused - i read your 1st post again and ... I'm not shy and i've
got questions ;-)

1. Your camera worked fine until you had an problem with power ? problems
after unexpected shutdowns are usually hard to diagnosis
2. Have you installed an producer's drivers to this camera or it worked on
default drivers from Windows ?
3. You wrote: "Another error message came up and I had to go to MY Computer
and
do the msisip.dll and replace it with msisip.old. still didn't work" - why
did you do this - what was the goal ?
4. Have you checked Event Viewer's logs ? Perhaps your problem is relative
to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319624/en-us

In the worst case you can try to repair your windows installation.
