Whenn installing the camera's usb driver XP recognizes
what it is and adds it to both, USB controller as a mass
storage device, and disk drive as a JVC GRDV500 USB
device, in device manager but I recieve a message from
the install wizard the " the specified service does not
exist as an installed service " hardware cannot be
installed. Both JVC and Gateway say it is a windows XP
problem. Any help would sure be appreciated

Al,

This problem also exist when installing Windows 2000 drivers. I'm
ready to send my camera back. Also, the camera appears to be a
Canadian model.
