I am trying to install windows onto my computer...but I
can't get past dos mode. When I put the cd in, and
type "d:setup" it says, "this program cannot be run in
dos". Or something like that. Is there any way for me to
install it in dos mode??

This is not a chat room. You post messages, wait, and see if someone
eventually posts a reply. It could be minutes, it could be hours, it
could be not at all (I usually wait a day or two before "bumping" my
post by replying to my own post). You have 2 posts regarding the exact
same question but are only 12 minutes apart. Use one post to keep all
replies grouped together in thread. Visit your other post for
additional help.

Stefanie:

There is NO setup.exe to install Win2K.

In win32 environment the installer is; winnt32

In DOS environment the installer is; winnt
