Hi, I developed a problem with the way the monitor acted
when scrolling. I discovered the drivers for the monitor,
a Philips 15" TFT were not installed any more...so I
insert the driver disc that came with the monitor
followed the instructions, but everytime I pointed to the
drivers for the install wizard to do it's thing I get a
Unable to Locate A Driver message. What do I do now??

The monitor drivers on the disk are probably for Windows9x systems and
therefore not recognized by XP.

Look at the manufacturer's website to see if they have drivers for Windows
2000 or for XP.

Thanks for your response Cari, but the monitor just died,
totally, so I guess that's where my problems were.

Oh dear, my sympathies. The only good thing is that they are now much
cheaper than they used to be (and more reliable) so you should be able to
get something larger (like 17" or 19") and have an even better view.

Have you checked whether there's an installation program on the disk?
sometimes the drivers are compressed within the installation progra
rather than being readily accessible by Windows. Otherwise web site'
the best option.
