Is it possible to install Access 2000 and XP on the same machine? If so
how? Whenever I have tried to do it whichever version I install second
overwrites the first. TIA for any help.

You have to install the 2000 in a different directory location than the 2002
version. Install the 2000 in the default location Program Files | Microsoft
Office..... first and then install the 2002 to a folder called Office2002.
This can be under the Program Files area. If you can pick a completely
different drive letter, that is better. For instance, I have Office 97 on my
E drive and I have 2002 on my F: drive.

Remember, when you double click a database it will always default to 2002.
You have to open the appropriate database version and then open the
database.

Do not install 2002 first, then 2000. Always install the older first and the
newer second.

One other thing. Each install can't be an Update version. Both have to be a
full install. In other words if your Access 2000 is a full install version,
but 2002 is an Update version, you will never be able to install both. If
your Access 2000 was an update for a previous version and Access 2002 is the
full version, then you can install 2002 without updating the 2000 version.
