I require to install the "Client for Microsoft Networks"
on my XP machine at home. The only problem is that when
the machine was bought it didn't come with the "complete"
version of Windows XP, just a boot disk that completely
replaces windows if something goes wrong.

I don't want to have to shell out for a new Windows XP
CD, so I was wondering if someone could tell me how the
install the Client without the Windows XP disk.

Thanks for any help

.
XP installs Client for Microsoft Networks automatically
along with TCP/IP. Goto the properties of network places,
properties of the local connection. Make sure you see the
Client and that it is check marked. If you dont see the
client you can install it from install, which will give
you the option of installing clients.
