I want to use a BJC-80 printer on my compter but seem
unable to get the drivers installed correctly. Any
suggestions on this . If I use the the Canon install CD I
get an error message at the begining of the install to the
effect that there was no PnP support line in the .ini file.

I've set one of these up on two W2K laptops. It worked
good with the CD drivers but maybe my CD was different.
Windows should have the drivers bundled, though. Have you
tried choosing it from the list of known W2K printers?
Also, since my CD worked, there's bound to be postings of
working drivers for W2K on the Internet.

The BJC-80 worked both with LPT and infra-red. Couldn't
believe such an old and tiny printer worked so well. They
are slick devices for traveling. Ahead of its time. I
don't think anything like it is still available in stores.

I have tried setting it up both ways. Using the Install
New Hardware and using the CD. Neither would work.
Strange...
