I just completed downloading and installing the latest updated version of
Business Contact Manager for Outlook. I opened Outlook immediately thereafter
and a task box popped up stating, "finalizing BCM for Outlook configuration."
This process is then interrupted with the following error message, "Business
Contact Manager for Outlook could not complete your last action or actions.
Please try again." I did several times only to have the same resulting error
message. What can I do to fix this and have the installation completed?

Thank you, very much!

Try one of the following:

Resolution : 1
=============

- go to start > control panel > mail > show profile

- click on add and give a name for the profile and add a new email account
if
needed

- set outlook to always open for the new profile

- then open outlook for the new profile and try associating BCM with the
same

- then you should be able to associate BCM

If the message appears when trying to share database the try Resolution 2

Resolution : 2
============
- Go to start > Run > Winver make sure it reads Win XP SP2

- Else install SP2 for windows and try sharing the database

If the error message occurs when trying to open Business Contacts,Account or
Opportunities then try Resolution 3

Resolution : 3
============

- try doing a Detect and Repair of Office either from Maintenance Mode or
from
Help option under any of the Office applications

- then try opening Business Contact ,Accounts or Opportunities

If the customer is running a Hosted Exchange Account in Outlook and the
issue
occurs try Resolution 4

Resolution : 4
===========

- go to start > run > regedit (make sure you back up the registry )

- then browse to the following keys HKCU > Software > Microsoft > Office >
11.0 >
Outlook > Option > General and delete the PONT_STRING value present to the
right

- you would have to restart the system for the changes to takes effect
