I've been trying to fathom out which CD-rom I should be using the install the
Back-up Utility on XP Home. I'm rather not just bung any old CD-rom in as my
system works quite nicely thanks vm! I don't seem to have a folder called
Value-added, what I do have is the Product Recovery CD-ROM and another
entitled Drivers and Utilities Consumer Notebook, neither of which look
promising. Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Many OEMs omit providing these features of the OS to their customers.

You'd probably have better luck to download NTBackup from:
