Hi,
Download the beta2 drivers from soundblaster.com. Then Reboot into SAFE MODE
and log in as Admimistrator locate the files and install. Reboot and they
should work fine with the Windows Vista programs. But,I have not had any
luck with the Soundblaster applications.
Maybe when the full version comes out
Good Luck

We have the same sound card. I downloaded the beta driver for Vista from
creative.com. I was able to install it and no problem. I did not logged
into safe mode at all, I just installed it the normal way.

But before that, I tried to install the driver from my original soundblaster
disk and it went fine, but since sounblaster has this beta driver for Vista,
I downloaded it and tried to install that but my computer crashed, so what I
did is I uninstalled the previous driver and installed this beta driver and
it went fine. So if you want, you should uninstall the driver in your
soundblaster first before you install the beta driver. Or in your case,
before you try to install in the normal way, not in safe mode, uninstall the
driver first and then reinstall the beta driver.

The only thing I did not like, is that the beta driver doesn't come with a
software of any kind in order to calibrate the speakers. You can calibrate
from Vista but it's kind of limited. Let us know how it went. Good Luck!
