We have a AD on one of our servers. We have just bought another server, were
we are planning the install SQL.
Would love to get any hints what the best way is to install these two
servers, or a link were I can look this up.
Shall we only put SQL on the new server and leave the AD on the 'old' one?
Hope to hear from someone

Thanks

You should have at least two domain controllers in any domain, for
redundancy. Without any more details about your environment, it's difficult
to make any recommendations, but include two DCs in your domain (and make
them both global catalogues) using AD-integrated DNS and, for a small
environment, you can't go far wrong.

SQL Server will sit on a DC quite happily for most uses.

We have a company with about 30 employees. We have had a small server Dell
6100 with raid 5
We just bought a new server with 2 CPU and Windows advanced server.
Would love to get some more information on how to set this up like the other
person mentioned any links or help would be appreciated.

What version of Windows Server?
As mentioned, you should be able to run SQL on a domain controller just fine
in your small network. Set up the OS, patch it, run DCPromo to make it a
domain controller in your existing domain. Install SQL. Patch.
