I do not want to use the microsoft mouse supplied but cannot find out how to
uninstall it - I am always taken into the microsoft mouse user page and my
new ligitach mouse program does not come up under programs.

Hi,

You generally don't need to uninstall them. Simply shut down, swap the mouse
for the new one, and boot back up. It should be detected and installed for
you. If it has added functions, you may need to install Logitech's software
package, but the basic functions will be there using a standard mouse driver
supplied with Vista.

Yes, thank you Nick that is precisely what I have done but am unable to get
into the logitech files to make changes and the mouse still looks like the
microsoft mouse on screen, perhaps now I will have to delve into the logitech
site.
