Installed Access 97 on my new XP system.

Using the Custom install, I requested that the installation be placed in
C:\Access97.

When the installation was complete, I had some Access files in C:\Access97
(wizards, Sample DBs, etc...),
but my MSAccess.exe ended up in C:\Program Files\MicrosoftOffice\Office!

What the heck caused that. On my old Win98 system, Access97 is all
contained under C:\Access97.

Anyone run into this before?

Thanks for any assistyance in advance...

Rolls,
No, I only have Office Basic installed in the usual microsoft Office
directory. I want Access97 in C:\Access97 and Access2K in C:\Access2000.
Access 97 has just been going nuts on this new XP machine. Wacky
installs, failure to uninstall properly, and now A97 fails to open with "Out
of memory" message (with 1 MB of memory available). Access2000 seems to be
OK though
Just a fiasco!
