hi,sorry if this is in the wrong section, i trying to install a new epson stylus dx4400 in my p/bell ixtreme pc running on xp, but i,m missing a virtual usb port in my list of ports,as anyone any ideals

You need to connect the printer to a spare USB port & also connect the mains power lead.
Turn on and the pc will pick it up & prompt you to use the drivers cd that came with the printer.

hi, has anyone had trouble installing a epson printer, and can help me out please. cheers lacky

I have an Epson DX5050 and all you need do is run the setup cd and plug your usb cable into your pc when prompted to do so..

If your having problems with usb ports then that is another matter you may need to reinstall your motherboard drivers and or enable usb in your motherboards bios if its not enabled already..Try those first..
