Hi,

I'm getting a OKI C5250dn laser printer that has both USB and 10/100-TX
ethernet connections.
I've got a wireless home network set up, consisting of one desktop with
attached D-Link DSL-G604T wireless router and two wireless laptops.
Can I plug the printer into one of the spare sockets on the back of the
wireless router with a network cable rather than attach as USB and make it
available to all the computers.
If Yes, then how do you set it up.
Please feel free to assume i'm an idiot if you respond.

regards,

Paul

:
I plugged the network cable into the printer and the router, lights started
flashing on the printer beside the cable socket, followed the advice given
and in a couple of mins was up and running. I had to print out the
configuration info page from the printer to find out the IP address that it
had been assigned to configure the port, but all in all it was really easy to
set up.

Thanks Cari.
