Installing a HP mobile deskjet 340 to a computer using XP

I have a mobile printer which is the one mentioned
above. I cannot get it to load on to the laptop. It is
a parallel printer and the laptop is a new Toshiba. It
says it cannot get into the registry to work. This is an
old printer I had with a 98 laptop and would like to
contiue using it. I have a need to keep using this
machine as the new ones are very expensive. Can someone
help me.

Go to www.hp.com and obtain XP drivers for your printer..
