98 instead (i have the setup disk) Could anybody help me
out with it?

If you are having probs with the look of XP and general navigation probs,
you can convert the look to Win 98 style.. you would probably get along with
it better.. XP is by far the superior operating system..

You'll have to completely start from scratch:

How to Use the Fdisk Tool and the Format Tool to Partition or Repartition a Hard
Disk

1. Delete the Windows XP partition.
2. Create a new partition.
3. Format the new partition FAT32.
4. Install your desired Windows 98 Operating System.

Do you need to keep any files? Data files? Mail files?

The easiest path is to erase the XP by formatting the drive and install the
98 from scratch.

I don't think the 98 license considers XP and upgrade source, so you must
have a Full install of 98 or some older Windows disks to upgrade from.

The normal way to "uninstall" _any_ operating system is to format
the hard drive and install a new OS of your choice.

However, if you performed an upgrade from Win98/Me, elected to
backup the old system files, and didn't convert the partition to NTFS,
then all you need do is boot into Safe Mode and Start > Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs. All of these conditions _must_ be met for the
uninstall option to be available.
