I received a windows update e-mail that came with an
attachment "installer41.exe" that was supposed to update
my security files. However what it did wa effectively
cripple almost all of my applications. Except for
explorer and Microsoft Outlook I am unable to open any of
my programs and I get the "unable to open File Name (or
one of its components.) Make sure the path and filename
are correct and all libraries are available." I also
logged on to Norton Utilities and did a virus check and
nothing came up. If anyone has any clue to what might
have caused this I would greatly appreciate it.
