My new PC came with Vista home premium and Works 8,5 preinstalled.
Since I use theOffice 2003 Suite I installed that, and wanted tu remove Works.
Started uninstall from the control panel, and it was running for 45 minutes
with
with a LOT of disk activity.
Then I got a message saying Installer is not responding, continue or cancel.
I choose cancel, a popup then said "canceling" and I left it like that for an
hour, but still canceling.
A try to cancel the process from task manager resulted in a locked desktop
and the only way I could think of was power off and restart.
Is it windows installer that is the culprit or explorer or what ??
