C:\Projects\L3\WizoInstall\WizoInstall.vdproj 'shdocvw.dll' should be
excluded because its source file 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdocvw.dll' is under
Windows System File Protection.

Should I really do this? What are the ramifications?

TIA,

I don't think it's even permitted to distribute this DLL, which is part of
Internet Explorer, because this was not the allowed for VB6 too:

PRB: Shdocvw.dll Is Not Included in PDW Setup Package
<URL:http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;EN-US;191692>

Thanx, that was useful. But I wonder if they have not included .Net in the
description, by default we are allowed to redistribute. The law is clear in
the US that if you specify something applicable to one version and you do
not mention other versions, then you are implicitly allowing it.

Thanx anyway.
