My Windows/installer folder contains 1,344 files and is 10.2 GB in size.
What can I do to reduce the size of this folder?

You learn about each file by doing research on the web. Tip: Use the
file name as the search term in a search engine like Google.

Start with the largest file/folder. Most of those files are MSI/MSP files, so
you can view their properties to identify them in the Summary tab.

Of course generally speaking, you don’t want to touch \Windows\Installer. It
contains the files necessary for doing repairs and such to your programs. You’ll
want to get yourself a shell extension or space manager so that you can see what
the really big files/folders in there are and then examine them to find out what
program(s) you installed are so big. I’ve never seen one that big even when
really massive apps are installed.
