First, this is not a Microsoft Developers group. The resources are donated
by Microsoft, but it is a peer to peer assistance environment. Although
someone from Microsoft may occasionally read the posts herein, you are not
posting to a site wherein you can communicate with anyone from Microsoft.
Secondly, the issue you are having seems to be unique to your situation, as
I can not find any other posts regarding the same problem, either here or by
using Google.
So, I guess it turns out that what is useless is your post, since you give
no information about your hardware, which version of windows you are
running, what updates you have installed, and the exact wording of any error
messages that you are getting.
If you want help, ask.
If you had read the Users Agreement when you downloaded the Powertoys, you
would have known that they are unsupported by Microsoft. But you apparently
didn't bother to read the disclaimer.
You might also want to consider an attitude adjustment. Point the finger
and blaming Microsoft for what should be obvious to even someone like you is
laughable.
In the future, take the time to read the files associated with any software
you download. It might just help you prevent embarrassing yourself like
this in the future.
