We recently intalled SP4 as it was required in order to install Acrobat 6.0, however upon restarting we found that we were no longer able to connect to the internet. We're able to ping various sites by IP address as well as host name, however none of our programs (explorer, outlook, aim, etc.) can connect. Upon uninstalling service pack 4, and restarting we were able to connect to the internet. We even tried uninstalling and reinstalling TCP/IP, etc. Oh, and we have cable modem with comcast if that helps. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

From a command prompt;
ipconfig /all
and compare the result with what your ISP thinks you should have.
