Installed SP1 and lost usb driver

Try using the device manager and removing the USB
device. What SHOULD happen is that the computer will
recognize the new device and find a driver for it.

If this does not work, what kind of device are you
using? I had to get a new mouse when I upgraded to XP
because the drivers did not work.

(I am new at this so bear with me. I am not sure which devise this usb is for, forgive my ignorance. I have been trying to do everything Jimmy has given me for my games. They won't work for some reason since I did a general recovery. I have done all the upgrades from Microsoft. SP1 being one of them. In browsing my list of devises, I noticed the yellow ?. I read somewhere today this is a common problem and Microsoft can assist free of charge, but I looked everywhere at every link for assistance, and have found none. I would appreciate any advise.
