I recently installed a new Western Digital hard drive and have Windows
XP Pro installed. Everything is working great except for my floppy
drive. I have checked all connections, etc. and they are OK. In the
device manager, it states the drive is working properly. However,
when I put ask the computer to read the A drive, it tells me to insert
a floppy. I do that and it asks me to insert a floppy over and over.
I have even tried putting in 2 other floppy drives (thinking maybe the
drive was bad) and the computer does the same thing. I am sure it
some simple setting, perhaps in the BIOS, but I can't figure it out.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks. Kari
