installed antispyware but lost connection!!!!

Hi, I installed the antispyware, cleaned up some "severe
thread" spyware but then after I reboot, I lost the
internet connection! I tried ping and ipconfig, looks
like the DHCP client is failing (I saw the autoIP
assigned is 169.254.x.x)
I tried reinstall the network driver but to no avail. now
the network icon always says "limited or no
connectivity". Please help!!!
