hi can anyone help me.
will an xp full installtion disk work as an upgrade too. I
am running windows 98 and i have bought the wrong disk. do
i need to change it to install xp and not loose my current
files. Many Thanks

Yes, it will. However note that the OEM version (which is often
confused with the Full version) will not, and will only do a
clean installation.

Although you *can* use the Full version, since the Upgrade is
much cheaper, you should probably exchange your CD if you qualify
to use the Upgrade.
