I just installed a Seagate 160g SATA hard drive for storage on my P4P800
Deluxe. The motherboard recognized it and so do with Window XP, SP1. My
problem is I could not format the drive because Seagate DiscWizard 2003 the
software that came with it will not detect it. I downloaded the latest
version from their website but it still does the same. Does anybody
encountered this problem before? Any advice or help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

By the way, the Raid is disable in the bios.

I had the same problem. I used the WinXP format facilities to format my
drive once XP had recognised it. (You can format it by clicking on My
Computer, right click on you new drive and use the "format" option to format
it.)

If you want to use that drive as the boot drive for XP then format the drive
during the Win XP installation.
Cheers
Bob
