windows xp sp2 was installed by microsoft into my
computer oct. i. i need to know for sure that your
installation was completed (my windows update showed that
it was done successfully--so i suppose it was..). if
that's so, i need to know if my comcast security manager
is now out & your system is in! if your system is in--
then i can probably work with comcast to eliminate
security manager...i don't want a collision. -thanks,
marty anders.

Marty,

Does your computer still function 100%? Is the Microsoft Security Center
bugging you about firewall settings, antivirus or anything else?

If not - don't worry about. If so, ask your specific questions. Right now
you are talking to millions of individuals NOT associated with Microsoft in
any way but using the OS like you do in such a way that makes it sounds like
you think you are talking privately with some entity known as Microsoft.

This is a group of users who share info and experiences. If you have issues
directly with Microsoft, you need to contact Microsoft customer support.

No-one here works for Microsoft....so complaints should go to them direct.
You can check if updates are loaded in Start/Control Panel/Add/Remove
Programs (check the "show updates" box at the top.)
Your version of Windows is in Start/Run enter "winver" minus the "" or right
click "My Computer" go to "Properties"
