Hi, I just recently bought "Godfather - the game" and tried installing it on
my Windows XP system. I meet the system requirements, but after the EULA
agreement, I recieve this pop-up error
"Runtime Error!

Program:C:\Docume~1\Hyp3r4~1\Locals~1\Temp\AutoRun.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."
I have tried the reboot-and-run method, as well as closing explorer while
the install takes place to no Avail. If anyone can give me a hand, I would
appreciate it.

researching, it seems to be a common C++ error (also the bar reads microsoft
C++ runtime library or something to that effect) and so far the generic
answer I find is to open the file and retool/reprogram it. Personally I'd
rather not try. Thanks ahead of time!

Hi Hyp3r,

Let's try a couple of things to get that working for you:

1. Startup your system in SAFE MODE by pressing F8 repeatedly
while your system is booting up after you've shut down your system

2. Log in with an account you've created as a "Computer Administrator"
account that you'll use to play the game, but don't use a Limited account.

3. Try installing the game again
