Wouldn't it be possible to make a scanner that compares files between the
installation disc and existing intallation.

Added to this a database could contain all file info and wich application
every file belong to.

Files that do not comply to the "allowed database" could easily be erased
:D

(or asked about as doc's etc)

Would it be possible?

It's possible but the format of the installer log would need to be
considered. It could get complicated as many different installation
systems could be used. There is no standard for installers.

Reminds me of a time I went on a short vacation and a field engineer
stopped by work to some maintenance on a computer. Puts in one the
install disks and McAFail says it has a virus. Tries a second copy,
says the same thing (this was back in the floppy days). Decided to
reformat the friggen hard drives. WTF! Of course the install disks
were clean, McAFail gave a false positive.

There where (is?) a software called Uninstaller. Doesn't that track files
that belong to the application that shall be erased?

Wouldn't it be possible to track files in a similar way for security? Which
to keep and wich to erase.

This is a question you can easily answer for yourself.
Use Windows Explorer to examine the installation disk for your OS, and look
for the presence of files on the installation disk that correspond to files
that appear in your installed OS.
