I've tried for 6 months to install xp on windows 98 and
keep getting not enough disk space, although it says I've
got 86% free space. I've got a 64 mb. Any solutions, as
now I can't return CD?

You mean you have 64 GB (Gigabytes), not 64 MB (Megabytes), right? XP will
need about 1.5 GB of free space in which to install itself. If you don't
have at least that much free space on your hard drive, you are out of luck.

Go buy some RAM, also you need at least 2 GB free to install
XP.

Sounds like your old W98 computer just isn't up to XP.

Yes, if you meant by memory size, 64MB is too little. 256MB will make you
start and 512MB will give you better performance.

If you are talking about hard disc - well, way too low.

Read "System Requirements" on the box and you will get a better idea about
what kind of system for you to install XP.
