Installation of other softwares on embedded image

I don't want any other softwares to be installed on the created run-time image.
i.e the run-time image should not support installation of other softwars.

so what are the components that are to be either added to or removed from
image in order to support the above functionality.
 
First remove (don't add) "Windows Installer Service" component.

You can't prevent installing application with custom installers. But you can restrict user accounts (Policies) to not allow e.g. IE
download, launch of Exe/MSI/etc. from some Internet Zones, from removable device, some hard drives, etc.
