I have some new software called Lifetimez. It is a Digital scrapbook for
pictures. When I try to load the software. Windows Vista says "Digital
Content Installation Error. "No compatible application can be found. The
digital content instillation requires that a memory-mixer compatible
application already be installed on computer." What is a compatible
application?

You'd have to ask the makers of "Lifetimez."

I'm not familiar with Lifetimez but looking
at their website I noticed that Vista is not
listed in the System Requirements. Maybe
that's why it doesn't install correctly.

It may be worth a try to install it in Compatibility
Mode.

And wishing you good luck in your endeavors on fixing your issue all by yourself after this answer that you have posted .

Here's all I can suggest since I know nothing about your software. Uninstall
it to start but remember where it was placed (full path).
You know where this software wants to go. Now go and create that same
folder yourself. Next make it full permissions by all users in the (left
click the folder)folders-security dialog. That should insure all files
placed there aren't hampered.

Next, RIGHT click the install program and choose Install as Administrator.

See if that helps it to work. It may not as I have troubles with even
Office2000, a MS product. Look for work-arounds too.

Good luck.

If a program isn't Vista compatible and you can't get it to install in
compatibility mode, you either need to go back to XP or find a compatible
program that is Vista compatible.
