Installation of accessories

Hello,

I'm french, so, sorry if my english is not very good.

So, i've bought a portable computer, with Windows XP Pro pre-installed
and a directory c:\I386 for the installation files of windows. So, no pb.
I made a partition with partition magic in my hard disk, no pb.
But, some times ago, i'd like to install windows serveur IIS in windows
accesories. So, I selected it. Then, the program asked me for the
installation files ; it found them in c:\I386. Logical ! But, it is not
able to copy these files and to install any accessory !! I checked, all
files are in the good place but windows can't copy them...

Have you got any idea ?

(Of course, I could restore my system, but I must format and I would
like to find another solution if it's possible)

Your I386 directory doesn't contain the 'options'. As for which it is, I
cannot recall for IIS services.

You will need the installation CD: this is generally supplied with Laptops
in a recovery set.

If it is missing contact the manufacturer and ask for their assistance.

But, I've a dvd in order to restore the system.
But, the files in this dvd are compressed and crypted files.

When a try with anoter XP CDROM, I've the same problem...
