I am trying to instal windows vista upgrade premium, and i choose to do the
upgrade, everything works fine until it goes to completing upgrade. Then it
reboots my computer at 52%, after the reboot it takes me to a black screen
that says windows is not installed properly. It gives me the option of
starting windows normally, in safe mode, in safe mode with networking, and
another one that has to do with safe mode. No matter what option i pick it
still takes me to that same screen. So i end up having to rollback the
installation. I'm running an AMD 3800, 2 gbs of ram, an asus a8n-sli deluxe,
and a geforce 7900. Please Help

Try having only your monitor, keyboard and mouse attached to your computer.
Too, uninstall any software that Windows Upgrade Advisor showed had problems
with Vista, and other software that will probably have problems such as third
party security programs. Also, be sure that you have all the latest
Microsoft updates from their site before you try to install Vista.
