Hi,
I am doing a clean installation of Windows Vista Home Premium and I ran
into a problem. After everything on my hard drive was wiped and it was
restarted to start the installation, I entered my CD-Key in, accepted terms,
selected Clean (as it was only choice now), and when it came to select the
hard drive I wanted to use it wasnt listed, and it is asking for the drivers
by use of CD, DVD, etc. I'm not sure what to do because I've tried using my
motherboard's disc which I thought had Vista's drivers, but was Vista's Beta
drivers, tried, but didnt work.

Download the appropriate SATA controller from your motherboard's
manufacturer, and put on a disc, flash drive, floppy, etc and install the
driver at the drive selection screen. I had the same problem with my
install. Should work just fine after that

OP says it's an IDE drive.
