Hi, i have an IBM netvista, and i am trying to install
windows 200 server on it. It stops the installation and
claims that my hardware does fully ACPI compliant.
It tells me to press on F7 when setup prompts me for
Storage drive installation, i do that and i reach the
part where setup prompts me to choose what to do:
Install, repair or exit. I do that and i find that the
keyboard is disabled and i can't press <Enter> to start
the installation.
What should i do, please advise.

You mb and or bios version is probably not Windows 2000 compliant. Restart
the install by either booting the Windows 2000 install CD-Rom or setup
disks and press F7 (at setup is inspecting your system) in the setup to have
Windows 2000 automatically disables the installation of the ACPI HAL and
installs the Standard PC HAL
