You can run Windows on an Intel Mac in two ways: 1) with Boot Camp
(provided free for Leopard and no longer available for Tiger) which will
give you a dual boot; and 2) with virtualization using either Parallels
or VMFusion (not free).

In both cases, you need a full (not upgrade) version of the Microsoft
operating system. You will purchase the Microsoft operating system in
the usual way - brick and mortar store or online store. You cannot use
the install media that came with your Windows laptop.

Nice try - wont work
Two installations require two licences
Time to go shopping for a full retail version

By your own admission, you have an OEM license for WinXP that came
with the laptop. An OEM version must be sold with a piece of hardware
(normally a motherboard or hard rive, if not an entire PC) and is
_permanently_ bound to the first PC on which it's installed. An OEM
license, once installed, is not legally transferable to another computer
under _any_ circumstances.

You'll have to purchase a WinXP license to go with the MAC.

1) Go to store/shop that sells computer software.

2) Purchase either the desired edition of WinXP.

3) Return to the office.

4) Insert installation CD in MAC's CD drive and follow the on-screen
prompts and instructions to install the OS and desired additional
features.
