INSTALLATION CD for HP photo 7660 PRINTER

christmas gift receiver

Have been trying to install the cd from HP,before
connecting the printer.The download process starts,till
it reaches 23%,then will not continue,Am using proper XP
installation procedure.Also I have been to the Microsoft
XPhomepage,looking into Printer Drivers, and
XP,compatible printers, but the HP photosmart series
7000,series are not listed. Who is,also having the same
problem?

Why on earth are you looking for a driver for an *HP* printer on *MS's*
website?! I suppose you search for Windows updates on HP's site, right?

Why are you not searching here http://tinyurl.com/xiua for a driver?!
