I try to install windows 2000 server but my array
controller is not detect. The model is compaq smart array
431 controller (SCSI / RAID card). I went to the compaq's
web site but no driver witch corresponding...

Anybody has an idea ??? or anybody has the same array
controller ?

thanks a lot for your answer

Thank you but i already tried it. This driver is a driver
witch can be installed after windows 2000 installation.
But i need this driver on installing windows 2000 because
my hard disk are not find if i don't have it.

This driver must have the file txtsetup.oem

I try all the driver giving in the hp web site
corresponding to this array controller but none fonction.

My server is an COMPAQ proliant ml 370 (P17) (processor
between 800 and 900 Mhz) and the array controller Compaq
Smart array 431 Controller.

Thanx

I've known Compaq and other vendors to burry the HAL drivers somewhere in
the directory structure of the downloaded image. The directory should be
fairly obviously named. If it isn't there, you might be SOL and forced to go
back to the original diskette/CD for the HAL.
