Installaion "Error in Line 415 of INF file"

I hv W2K Prof. insatalled in my home PC. Somehow the
ntoskrnl.exe file has got corrupted, since during booting
it gives message for that. So I started to reinstall, but
after booting from the CD, it gives the message "Error in
in line 415 of INF file. Setup cannot continue." What is
the problem ??? I hv 2 partitions in HDD, I hv to keep D:
since all my data is in that drive.

Ntoskrnl.exe error occurs when u have invalid entry in boot.ini file.

An error occurred when Setup was loading and interpreting an .inf file.This
means .inf file is corrupted.Try changing the media.
