I am currently running Windows XP Pro, using AOL Broadband (DSL) and
also using Office 2003 Pro. I also sometimes use this computer to
network with my laptop.

I recently won a copy of Windows Small Business Server 2003 Premium
Edition. My questions are:

What are the advantages/disadvantages of upgrading this computer with
this software?
If I do upgrade are there any special instructions for upgrading using
AOL Broadband (DSL)?

Thanks,
Paul

Server versions of Windows cannot upgrade over a workstation
operating system such as Windows XP. There are really no
advantages of running a Server version unless you wish to
share files with more than ten other computers.

The only way to install a server version of Windows is to
install it on an empty partition or drive, or reformat your
drive and install it.
