Install W2k over existing one

Hi, all.

I have Win2k Russian version SP3 and want to install Win2k
English version over the existing one. I spent a lot of
time to secure my system and, besides, have some programs
that I'll not be able to reinstall.

Please tell me what will I lost after installation
(setting, programs etc)?

I suspec this may not work. If it was my machine then
I would first take a snapshot of the existing installation,
using DriveImage or Ghost. If the upgrade failed then
I could drop back to the snapshot.
