Dear All,
I want to install tcp/ip automatically, not from Setting -> Network
and Dial up Connection -> Install -> Protocol. And may be the computer
doesn't have a network adapter. Is it possible?
sorry for my English

TIA
-Anna-

TCP/IP is installed automatically whenever you add a network device, so you
don't have to do anything. In fact its there by default on W2K and XP
machines.

If you don't have a Network Card and you still want TCP/IP installed, you
can select to install the MS Loopback Adapter. Just go to add new hardware,
network card, Select the option for manually choosing the driver, select MS
as the manufacturer and you will see the Loopback adapter there.

Let us know if this answers your question.

Thank you.
and how do i install loopback adapter with simple way?
I try with syntax
RUNDLL32.EXE SETUPAPI.DLL,InstallHinfSection MSLOOP.ndi.NT 132 netloop.inf
but it's not added in my Network and Dial-up Connection.

TIA

Thank you for your reply.
I try with unattended installation (winnt32.exe
/unattend:unattend.txt),
and now i have two windows 2000. Is it possible unattended
installation not making new windows 2000? or may be i'm wrong?

TIA
-Anna-

Ok...Right. That's a problem now. Are you still able to boot into your
original installation of W2K? If you can, then use the article below and
follow the steps for Manual installation of the loopback adapter

The steps outlined for Unattended installation are only for computers that
do not have W2K installed. You did not have to take that step.
