Why would installing it on an external drive do any good. Is XP itself on
that drive?
IF, you're trying to download it and don't have enough space - then restate
your problem as such, then order the SP2 CD from Microsoft or go to Staples,
as others have done, and get it from them.
i do not have the 1.8 gigs required for installation on
my internal hard drive C., but i do have sufficient space
on my external drive E. in easier terms for you to
understand,can download and install, be done on drive E
with the operating system on drive C.
