No work around w/ the FP SE - to open a live site and edit it online
But FP2003 does support more intelligent FTP and WevDav

| I guess that's my problem - no FP extensions. We have been developing
| with Dreamweaver which does not use extensions and I was hoping to go
| back to FrontPage for my development because it is suppose to co-exist
| with Dreamweaver (by locking files when you open them as well as
| publish via ftp, etc). I would rather not reinstall the extensions
| but if I don't, FP2003 seems to want to recreate the entire test
| server on my local PC before I begin editing (does any of this make
| sense?). Anyway, if anyone knows a way around installing FP
| extensions it would be a big help.
|
| Thanks,
| John Carroll
