Install repair on oem XP Media Centre edition

Is there any way of getting to use the Install/Repair option (specifically
fixmbr) on a system that comes with oem recovery disks. Googling would
indicate not but I thought I'd better check here. The installation disks do
appear to have a complete i386 folder.

Try this download http://webtree.ca/windowsxp/Tools/bootdiscs/xp_rec_con.zip

Unzip and burn the .iso file to CD. This will create a bootable CD that
gives you access to the Recovery Console which includes FIXMBR

(use the instruction here to create a bootable CD from an ISO if you
don't know how to do so
