Install RC1 over Win 2000 on C: With WinXP on D:

I realize that I've probably got exactly what I deserve, for not thinking
things through in advance, but...

After messing with the betas and RC1 on a standalone drive, I installed RC1
on a dual boot machine with Win 2000 on C: and Win XP Pro on D:. RC1 was
installed over Win 2000.
RC1 is fine except for lack of a driver for my Silicon Image SIL3112A
SATA/RAID controller, but (as I should have predicted) the machine now has
no knowledge of the Win XP installation on D:.

Is there any way I can manually edit or tweak the Vista boot manager to
recognize the Win XP on D:? Or, must I format C: and D:, then install XP on
C:, then Vista on D:?

About the SIL3112A controller, anybody have this controller working under
Vista RC1? If so, what drivers did you use? The Silicon Image web site has a
driver they say works with Vista, but I suspect it works with the betas, but
not RC1.

Thanks for any comments/suggestions.

Please ignore the SATA driver part of the original post. That has been
solved :)
